Don't Let Go

They say you can't,
you know you can.
They say you won't,
you know you will.

People all around you,
bringin' negativity.
Don't let go,
because of their inability.

They broke down,
and let go of their dreams.
Now inside,
are the deafening screams.

Some give up to easy,
and now,
what they do isn't even pleasing.

Don't make the same mistake.
When you see what you want,
you gotta take it.
That's the way it is,
if you wanna make it.

Don't be discouraged,
when people put you down.
Use it as energy,
to be the fastest cat around.

Don't let go of the visions in your head,
don't let them put you in boots made of lead.

Don't let go of the ambition that you have,
keep forging ahead and learn from the past.

Take the advantage,
do the math.
When it all adds up,
you will have made it at last.
